Emler Swim School Beginners Program

Beginners

(4+ years)

Foundational skills of floating, gliding, stroking and kicking taught by utilizing drill formats. Students swim required distances using proper form (except for Preschool Beginners), master independent breathing.

Preschool Beginners (PB)

4-year and 5-year old's who cannot swim. Themes create fun-filled lessons to teach children how to swim five feet.

Beginners (BEG)

6-year old's and up who cannot swim without flotation. Goal at this level is to swim ten feet while getting one front breath.

Advanced Beginners (AB)

4-year old's and up who swim five feet. Goal is to teach them to swim 20 feet while getting one front breath.

Super Beginners (SB)

4-year old's and up who swim 20 feet and are able to get one independent breath. Goal is to swim 40 feet while getting several independent breaths.

X-treme Beginners (XB)

4-year olds and up who swim 20 feet and get several breaths. Goal is to swim the elementary backstroke 40 feet and swim the freestyle stroke with rolling breaths for 40 feet.
